Yola Ashkenazie graduated in 2024 from Barnard College and the Jewish Theological Seminary’s dual-degree program, where she studied Psychology and Economics at Columbia and Jewish Texts at JTS. A vocal advocate for Jewish students, Yola has spoken out against campus antisemitism on national television and at a press conference hosted by Reps. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and Virginia Foxx (R-NC) ahead of Columbia’s 2024 congressional hearing. She continues to call on the university to enforce its demonstration policies and take stronger action to combat antisemitism. On campus, Yola served as Board President of Chabad at Columbia and was a member of Sigma Delta Tau. She has held internships at J. Safra Sarasin (the asset management division of Safra National Bank), Highline Capital Management, and Coefficient Capital.
